Jack Garman, DVM
A Native of Hartford, Doctor Garman went to the University of Connecticut for his undergraduate studies and then graduated from the Veterinary School at Cornell University in 1967. He worked at the Buffalo (NY) zoo for a year, then moved to Hollywood, Florida, to open a clinic. His Yankee blood drew him back to Stamford, where he began his career here at the High Ridge Animal Hospital. Having worked at the Buffalo and Miami zoos, he immediately began volunteering as the veterinarian for the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, where he spent a number of cold spring mornings delivering lambs, and cool fall nights dehorning bucks. Active in the Fairfield County and then Connecticut state veterinary associations, he was elected President of the CVMA in 1997. He and his wife Bobbi spend time with their 3 boys, 4 grandchildren, and three dogs, when they aren't gardening,sewing, or fishing
Gregory Brzoska, DVM
Dr. Brzoska, a Fairfield County native, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and went on to graduate from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982.
A past president of the Fairfield County Veterinary Medical Association, he continues to be a participating member of the Fairfield County, Connecticut, and American Veterinary Medical Associations. He has also been a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society since the organization’s beginning years. “Dr. B” feels that the VECCS is on the forefront of veterinary medicine and this affiliation has introduced numerous advanced techniques to HRAH.
Professionally, Dr. B oversees the surgery division at HRAH. His special interests include surgery, critical care medicine, and ultrasound. He is also drawn to the treatment of wildlife and exotic species.
In his free time, he loves boating, travel, and spending time with his wife, Kathie, and three children, Elise, Alison, and Richard. He has two Flat-Coated Retrievers, a cat, and a saltwater aquarium.
Geri Katz, VMD 
Dr. Geri Katz – After obtaining her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, she worked at various hospitals before joining the team here at HRAH in September of 2000. She quickly became a favorite of clients and really enjoys helping you as well as your pets. Dr. Katz has a special interest in feline medicine. She spends her spare time with her husband and two young sons and her darling cat Kiera. She also loves to do home improvement projects.
